I pay very close attention to the details of my cars and the very first thing I do when I buy a new car is to put on plastic license plate covers to protect and enhance the look of my cars and not license plate frames use. I've been using the bubble type for years, which is good, although it seems to discolor easily and doesn't always have the look I want. I recently ordered some custom license plate frames for my RV and found that most of the plastic covers don't fit the frames. I ordered these to see how they would work with longer bolts under the frame and they worked great. In fact I ordered more as I really like their look compared to the bubble type. In fact, in many states, like California, it's illegal to cover up your license plates, and friends and family have advised me to be stopped for it, and sometimes fired. Their beauty is that they are flat and don't have any of the distortion that a bubble type can have, and as such they shouldn't draw the attention of law enforcement. Excellent purchase!
