EveryPossible Clear License Shields Ubreakable Review

The dealer license plate frame I had on my 2016 Toyota Rav4 came with a thin plastic promotional sheet which I unfortunately threw away when I fitted the new plates; resulting in the metal plate being pressed against the car. These are covers but they make a great pad to keep the panel away from the body (after making sure the mounting screws are long enough). They haven't been used that long so can't rate durability, but good for the Iowa winter month, they were still attached.

Was looking for a stronger front number plate cover. I had an old lid but it was much thinner and was ruined in an automatic car wash. So I found them and ordered a pair. They are much heavier, thicker and stronger than the ones I had. Because they are a bit thicker, they fit better in the license plate frame. But I had no trouble installing them. Persistence and transparency seem to be quite good. I've gone through an automatic car wash three or four times with this cover on without a problem.

My only problem with them (and when I wanted to replace the old ones I bought these to replace) I found the problem was that the plastic on my license plates was very sticky. Yes, they prevent insects from killing your plate, but if you don't remove the plate from the protective cover from time to time, it will stick to the plate and eventually break into pieces when you try to remove the cover. I pay very close attention to the details of my cars and the very first thing I do when I buy a new car is to put on plastic license plate covers to protect and enhance the look of my cars and not license plate frames use.
