It's best for short people
I'm 5ft 2in tall and my feet don't touch the ground on the lowest setting. So I would say if you are 5 years old, "4" and older is perfect. The seat is small, which suits me perfectly. My knees stick out about 1.5 inches above the chair. I don't think it's the right size for Americans, but it's definitely nice. I usually have a hard time finding an office chair that suits me so I would say overall I'm satisfied. For the time being I put a box under my feet, which was a bit difficult for a man to assemble, it took him 30 minutes.
