More flexible than the charger that came with our Rav4 Prime SE

There's a reason it's a great value EV charger. The most important thing to note is the 16A part of the specification. This means you can charge at a maximum rate of 1.92kWh on 120V and 3.84kWh on 240V. Since we have the Rav4 SE, the vehicle's maximum allowable charge rate is 3.3kWh. This means that this EV charger is a win-win for us - it can charge our RAV4 at top speed when connected to 240V and is quite inexpensive. A few notes. I had to buy a Nema 14-50P to Nema 6-20P adapter to plug it into our 240V outlet. The EV charger has quite a long cord. My plan is to replace the 120v EV charger cable that came with the car with this EV charger and leave it in the car when traveling. This allows us to charge from either 120v or 240v. I'd also like to convert the Nema TT-30R to the Nema 6-20R - but so far the adapters I've found are prohibitively expensive. So a very good choice for us. However, this EV charger doesn't deliver much power, so it might not be an ideal choice for vehicles that can use more than 3.3 kWh when charging.
