Love this bottle and the flip top style. It is identical to the previous one I made at Contigo but I can't find it from that brand anymore. The steel base is virtually indestructible, with a wide opening that's easy to reach. But best of all is the simple hinged lid with no hidden springs or other mechanisms to trap particles and mold. The silicone O-ring on the lid screws and the rubber grommets covering the holes (main hole and vent hole) make it tight - I've had it lying on its side in a backpack with no problems. "Unlocking" the lid is a little tedious as it's quite tight, but once I got used to it I was able to do it with one hand on the move. It's not as easy as some snap caps, but I'd trade them in for a tight fit any day.
