They are not designed for solar lamps.
These don't turn off in the light and turn on in the dark. They stay on all day and night. Just installed so I don't even know if they charge during the day when the lights are on. If so, then I'm fine. They stay on all the time and are constantly charging. So I have no idea how long the charge will last or not as advertised. After 2 days of continuous use they blew out. They were not charged during the day. I plugged them into a regular charger and they charge. So definitely no rechargeable solar panels.
