They are not designed for solar lamps.

These don't turn off in the light and turn on in the dark. They stay on all day and night. Just installed so I don't even know if they charge during the day when the lights are on. If so, then I'm fine. They stay on all the time and are constantly charging. So I have no idea how long the charge will last or not as advertised. After 2 days of continuous use they blew out. They were not charged during the day. I plugged them into a regular charger and they charge. So definitely no rechargeable…

Two Thumbs Down in AA

I don't know why these batteries have such good reviews and I bought them because of the "great" reviews. I agree, it was impressive, they came preinstalled. I put them on the same night that I received them and they looked fantastic - very bright, lit my walkway very well and even stayed very bright all night. I was even surprised to see that they were on the next morning were still very well lit before the sun came up. BUT. This was the ONLY time my flashlights worked well with these…

I had four new boxed solar lights that I bought for my backyard but have never installed in the garage for years. I finally got them and no luck. I opened it and the batteries were gone. So I took a chance and bought them, cleaned the contacts, plugged them in and adjusted the light. I got three out of four to work, so I consider it a success.
