This affordable ring light stand is a fun addition to the world of selfie photography. The tripod consists of aluminum tube with rubber feet. There are four extensions that can be used to extend it from 24 inches to over 5 feet. The light ring has three light sources: one simulates incandescent light, bright bluish white, and daylight. Each of these lights has ten brightness settings, making them very versatile. I'm not a photographer, just a photographer, so I can't say how each of these settings can be used. It comes with a remote control keychain that allows you to control your cellphone's camera for both photos and videos. You can also attach any camera that has a tripod mount. With no ring light, this is a good tripod for indoor and outdoor use. Except at night, I might not know if I have a reason to take the ring light outside. Also, it requires a power source. The power supply has a six foot cord. I took some photos of myself (not shown here because I didn't want to startle people!) and I find the lighting to be effective about 5-6 feet from the ring. I tried it in a dark room and it really brightened it up. I doubt you'll find a better ring light stand for the money.
