Review on SIRUI AM-254 Carbon Fiber Camera Tripod, Load Up To 12Kg/26.5Lbs,10-Layer Carbon Fiber by Redfish Rosenhoover

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I was looking for, but not ideal for tall people

I've been searching high and low for a travel tripod for my Sony A6100 that had all the features I wanted without being wildly expensive, and this one (254) hit all the marks:-Lightweight carbon fiber-Sturdy-Camera securely locks into place-Smooth panning ability for panorama shots-Bubble level is visible when camera is mounted on tripod-Came with hook and interchangeable spike feet-Fits in my backpack side pocket-Ability to get low to the ground (love not having to remove and flip a center column to get low)I'm 5'4" and the top of the camera hits just below my chin/at my chestbone. The camera screen flips up so I just have to slightly tilt my head down to see my shot there, and I don't mind having to bend over slightly to use the view finder. People any taller than that may find this too short for regular use. But I love it!

Pros
  • The center column can be inverted for low-angle shots
Cons
  • The tripod's price point is too high for amateur photographers on a budget
