I love this drill. For me it has great balance and the grip/trigger is perfect. This 620 is the third Porter Cable drill I own after 30 years at Milwaukie. I upgraded my first one to a PCC621 rotary hammer maybe 3 years ago, but the clutch failed after recent drilling and installing maybe 20"3" #12 wood screws. I thought it was a random bug so I bought this one, PCC620. .Basically the same, but fewer batteries and charger New project - broken even after the 4th masonry screw! - Clutch slips at all torque settings. Factory service center and spoke to a tech who sounded pretty knowledgeable and we ran some troubleshooting on the phone, no dice, it fired, sent it back. "Bad luck". The difference in the date of manufacture is 4 years! I'm a homeowner, not a contractor, but I've used hand tools my entire adult life. Called Revain and they were very personable. So the big question is, do I keep it for a long life or also use it to see that it wears out quickly? Let's see how this works.
