Review on AOOA Caliper Covers Mustang 2008 2013 by Ted Slaughter

VERY COOL! Please read before buying!

First, these are without a doubt the coolest caliper covers you will find anywhere. Buy them, DO NOT buy MGP. MGP is overpriced and looks pretty boring. Too ordinary. I have a 2009 Mustang GT. I have factory polished 18" x 8.5" premium rims. In my case I needed a spacer to make room for these caps to keep them from rubbing. You can see the black gasket in the picture I posted. The size of pad that fit me was 1/4 inch thick. There is a 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap between the cover and the back of the wheel. I also posted his photo. So far I've only installed the front covers. I'll do the back another time. As for attaching the covers, you're going to have to be a little rough with it, if that's what I mean. I had to use a hammer to hammer them in place. Where the brackets meet with the included bolt and nut, I had to pinch them with pliers to line up the holes. After turning the bolt, I was able to fully tighten the nut so that the brackets were flush with each other. To finish the whole thing off, I tapped each side of the lid with a hammer to set them up and the fit turned out to be just right! Note: The instructions (as well as the video) advise you to install it with the rubber part up and the "hose" down. I did the opposite. It made the installation process easier for me. It might also work for you if you're having trouble with your preferred method.
