Repairing my air conditioner

I replaced all of the following on a 2005 speedometer: resistor switch, fan motor and this control switch. It still didn't work until I found and replaced the 40 amp max fuse under the hood in a fuse box that nobody talks about. It costs 5 dollars. Works great now!
