I got this after a lot of research. Although this brand didn't have many video reviews on YouTube, I chose it anyway. I have thick wavy/curly hair and this stuff makes my hair look almost straight. The hair is very easy to comb, although if the hair is very short it may not adhere well to the 'bristles'. My beard is currently too short to try it but I'll let it grow to see how it works. You can't go wrong with this $20 item and I can't imagine the more expensive ones working better than this for medium length men's hair. Highly recommended.
