Solid Solution Used in Leading Customer Analytics Products

I used to work with this product during its early days as a customer solution architect at Verizon Business Services. It was one of our earliest solutions for predictive analytics/BI applications. The user experience then wasn't nearly what it is now. Some of this has been addressed since my last engagement but there are still some areas where certain features need improvement. If you have an organization using advanced analytics across multiple data sources, then definitely consider this tool. This is something we leveraged when working on large scale BI projects for sales and marketing teams.

Pros
  • Very reliable
  • Great support team within VMWare Customer Success group.
  • Solid functionality that can be expanded upon via 3rd party plugins available from vendors like QlikView or Infor CRM
  • Easy configuration options allow customers flexibility in creating their own models through SQL scripts & Python scripting languages
Cons
  • Some little things
