On OEM Gen 3 Integra GS luggage racks, an Allen wrench can be used to prevent the piston rod from rotating when loosening the top mounting nut. The location on these aftermarket racks is different than the OEM. Before installing the spring/coil on these racks. You must first mount the struts without them on the shock fork and through the engine bay mounts so you can estimate the approximate location of the top of the strut mount (using 2 x 14mm bolts). I also recommend rubbing LOTS of silicone grease under the strut mount so you can move the strut mount without having to fully compress the spring (thanks ETCG).
