I have been using 3/8 x 5/8 in for several years and have never given it a second thought. Works, doesn't drip. But this time I decided to try 3/8 x 1/2 inch. I actually like it more. It's much easier to put on fittings and dissipates a little more heat on its own since it's thinner. The downside is that after a while it gets a little harder to remove from the fittings. I think this is because it cracks from temperature flux and, being thinner, tends to stick to the fitting. Actually not bad. Just a little more effort to take it off. I like that it's a lot more playable. From now on I'll probably stick with it.
