Made of plastic but looks and feels like hammered metal. Nice strong magnets to keep them in place. They look like real car door hinges and I'm pleased with how good they look. To me it's the same effect as using real metal hardware but without having to drill holes in the garage door for screws. Easy to put on and take off again if you change your mind. No, it's understandable. Buy it.
