Review on ๐Ÿ  NICREW Aquarium Heater: Temperature Adjustable Fish Tank Heater with Submersible Thermostat for Saltwater and Freshwater - Wired Controller Included by Angela Jones

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Temperature sensors are not accurate

Bought two for 75 gallons to evenly heat tank. I like Nicrew headlights and thought they were decent. I just had to make an aquatop like my other tanks. I did both of these adjustments overnight in the 80's and found that the temp inside the tank is about 73.74 when I place the thermometer probe next to the heating element. They are green which means they are not on a heating cycle and the water temperature is as the documentation says it is set. They're aesthetically pleasing, but as far as I can tell, they only work when you need a lower water temperature.

Pros
  • A small gauge in the heater that shows the operating status. Light changes from red to green when set temperature is reached
Cons
  • too dim
