Did what I needed.
I have a cover for an aquarium of a very rare size. Although I searched, I could not find a replacement that was the correct depth and length without resorting to costly custom repairs. The point was that the loop was broken. Well, five parts and some silicone glue did the trick. The lid doesn't look new, but works perfectly.
