This add-on is not for people who buy compression stockings. If you buy full length socks, you'll be pulling STRONGLY on the socks to pull them up over your calves, so don't skimp on cost and quality. This compression sock is a little more expensive, but I knew I'd be pulling and stretching any sock, so I chose the one that felt the sturdiest. Within 1 month of buying two socks, it has met and exceeded my expectations. The socks have lost none of their elasticity and fit my 15 foot size perfectly. After 6 weeks of use I'm sending the socks back because of the holes that have formed on the soles of my feet. The holes were not caused by putting the socks on and taking them off, but in my opinion due to the normal wear and tear of the shoes. I called to return the socks and even though they were expired they gave me a partial refund which I really appreciate. . I was hoping they would last longer than 6 weeks if I spent significantly more on socks. I was pleased with the snug fit of the socks and the ability to pull the socks very tight to pull them over the calves.
