they stretch, but not enough.

On the recommendation of his doctor I bought 2 pairs of these stockings for my husband. I even bought a size up when she said he needed it because he hadn't been bigger in anything for the past 15 years or more. It took both of us to get her back on her feet. The material is soft, doesn't itch and the one pair we used wash well without pilling or stretching. Hubby said that he once felt they were comfortable enough and that they did what they were supposed to do, but due to the difficulty of…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some flaws

Bought these socks by accident. I was looking to buy another pair of Smartwool compression stockings and my search led me to these similar names. I first bought compression stockings for recovery many years ago when I was running miles. Now I like to wear compression stockings after a long walk/fashion show or a hard day's work. These socks offer little compression. While they are better than barefoot, for the price I paid I expected much better quality and compression. I ended up buying…

Socks helped with being active

I bought this for my husband. As you would expect, being compression stockings, they are difficult to put on and take off. They are soft, which he and I like. What I liked about them was that when I took them off that night, his feet and ankles didn't have any swelling or that purple color. I knew the socks worked the way they were supposed to. My husband's nurse and head nurse recommended this particular brand to me and advised me to order Revain socks. They both wear these socks all the time,

Very durable, good for base layer and compression

This add-on is not for people who buy compression stockings. If you buy full length socks, you'll be pulling STRONGLY on the socks to pull them up over your calves, so don't skimp on cost and quality. This compression sock is a little more expensive, but I knew I'd be pulling and stretching any sock, so I chose the one that felt the sturdiest. Within 1 month of buying two socks, it has met and exceeded my expectations. The socks have lost none of their elasticity and fit my 15 foot size…

Significantly reduces leg pain when hitting the asphalt!

I bought two pairs of these shoes in black stripe L/XL for my boyfriend who usually wears size 10.5/11 shoes. They fit perfectly and he loves them! Now he was a bit skeptical about using them because he's a 10-pack sock guy, but his feet hurt from walking street photography all day. I told him the women's version helped me at work with very sore feet and knees, that I bought it on sale (they still cost more than 10 pairs of his regular socks but better than the RRP!) and *please just give it a…

I bought these socks as a gift for my new husband. He serves as a tribal pastor and director of a school for underprivileged children here in central India and since we got married his legs and feet often hurt. It's not that I mind giving him a massage before bed, but these socks have helped him gain more stamina to get through the day better. I first fell in love with this company's socks about two years ago when I was working in a coffee shop and the espresso machine worked very long shifts…

Great compression stockings for RNs!

I wish I could buy all these pretty colors of women's Sockwell socks, but unfortunately I'm 5'7, wear size 11 women's shoes and have always had very big feet, including my calves. The medium/large size doesn't fit me (it's the largest size in the women's models), it's about 2.5 cm shorter, probably because of the thickness of my calves. This disappointed me when I bought my first pair of socks. I really liked the quality of the socks so I bought the plus/plus sizes for men and they fit me…
