It's time to update the design.
Didn't expect to have to lay a cable from the generator directly to the battery. The instructions state that higher power generators should not be charged through this device. That ruined the installation, I'm considering installing it on the fuse panel's main auxiliary entrance instead. Also, get a snap-action switch that you can install within reach inside, and install it in series with the ground wire. Vehicles controlled with 100% Bcm cannot activate the reconnect function. Because your computer has no power, it cannot attempt to change the resistance of the electrical system, which it appears to be absorbing to reset itself. Older cars with real ignition locks work fine. It would be nice if you could turn on the wireless remote control to reset it.
