Corrects low battery syndrome.

I had low battery syndrome. Priority start solved this problem. All my worries about whether my car will start or not are gone.

NOT AS KNOWN! in Jump Starters

NOT AS RECOMMENDED! I ordered two of these and neither came with a holster. The listing clearly says they include a holster, which is why I paid $30 more. The device itself works well and attaches to the battery with the included rubber strap, which is why I'm giving it three stars.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • unreliable

Does not work: jump starters, chargers and portable power supplies

Unfortunately, this article does not work as planned. I wanted one of these back in the days when they were advertised on the back cover of off-road magazines (next to the MSD ignition gauges). Eventually he decided to get one and he failed at every opportunity. Work. Disappointed as the concept seemed solid. I'm considering a hard switch now as I believe that while this device continues to monitor the amp change to turn the battery back on it just keeps draining the battery. It might work if I

This product saved my car's life

This product saved my car's life because the dealer's car alarm went off and my car's batteries went dead. I had to buy a new battery, after installing the second battery it was also discharged. I took the car to a dealership and they wanted me to pay a lot of money to have the faulty car alarm removed. After investigating the issue, I purchased this product and have had no more battery issues. I had a small technical issue with the charging connector being too small for my car battery cable…

It's time to update the design.

Didn't expect to have to lay a cable from the generator directly to the battery. The instructions state that higher power generators should not be charged through this device. That ruined the installation, I'm considering installing it on the fuse panel's main auxiliary entrance instead. Also, get a snap-action switch that you can install within reach inside, and install it in series with the ground wire. Vehicles controlled with 100% Bcm cannot activate the reconnect function. Because your…

Just can't?

Installed in a car with parasitic battery discharge. I checked that the battery is well charged and has a voltage of more than 12.4 volts. I installed this device according to the instructions and in a specific critical order. After waiting two months to finally check my car. Nothing - dead battery, dead truck. WOW what a false promise that was. Of course, the time it takes to see if it works means you've exceeded the return period. So I have $100 plus a unit of JUNK! I would NOT recommend this

Fixed trailer issue

I have a newer trailer (Volvo VN 680) that has been known to drain the battery if it sits for days. The original owner installed the switch, but I knew I'd forget about it, and my truck often sits idle for a week or two. An internet search revealed that many people have battery drain issues and I finally found this article. Here's what I did: There are some wires going to the batteries. The original owner left some wires directly on the batteries and this is REQUIRED for the DEF hardware to…
