Review on 👩 Feminist Cross-Stitch: 40 Empowering & Daring Patterns by Amy Mcleod

I haven't done any projects yet but love the choice and already have a list of things to do next! It's a liberal, smart book in many ways, but I think it's a great thing and some of the quotes are very inspirational. I especially like the "She Still Persevered" and "Strong Women: Can We Know Her, Can We Be, Can We Raise Her" designs? I'm making this last one for my friend who just had a little girl as my very first choice from the book. While most of the designs are fairly standard and expected (a feminist/political quote with a nice floral border), there are a few unexpected and more interesting differences, including my favorite, a very detailed portrait style of Rosie the Riveter, which I plan to do when I'm done Get a little more cross stitch experience!
