Edit Review and Downgrade. The circuit board is severely deformed. Never put it in the dishwasher as we don't use it. There's no more water on it. It is always washed under running water and dried with a paper towel. No, I will not store it upright because I keep my cutting board 100% on the counter. We use it too often to put it off every time. In a horizontal position, the circuit board should be less deformed. Have you ever been to a hardware store to see how plywood panels are stored? Yes, horizontally. When stored upright, they warp. If you occasionally have problems with ants in your kitchen, like we do at certain times of the year, I advise you not to buy the black version because it is very difficult to see ants on it :) Otherwise, we liked the board. My first idea was to get a really thick cutting board made out of good quality hardwood, but it would be very heavy and difficult to clean in a normal sized kitchen sink. Thin and light, this board has a large hole in one corner, making it easy to use. The board tends to slide on the countertop so we put a kitchen towel under it and it's 100% better.
