Excellent cutting boards.

Great gift and personal use. I've longed for one like this for years. I bought it for my daughter, I decided to go broke myself. Can be washed in the dishwasher.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • embarrassing

Beautiful and durable!

Durable and easy to clean. If it looks faded, rubbing it with a few drops of vegetable oil can bring it back to its original appearance. I wish it had a non-slip backing but found it can be secured by placing it on a damp paper towel. When you're ready to clean up after cooking, a damp paper towel is perfect for wiping down the countertop!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Nice but not slippery. See tip feedback

Well I've only had it for two days but so far so good. I would add however that it is definitely not non slip, we have quartz countertops and everything slips. What I did was buy some silicone pads that are for holding pictures and put them on the underside of a cutting board. I think I use nine total so it's evenly spaced and it's perfect, non-slip, rock solid and amazing!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't have a huge grudge about it, it's ok

VERY big - so big it doesn't fit.

VERY large - so big it doesn't fit in our dishwasher (no problem for us). It works very well under heavy use. The dripper isn't particularly deep, but it's enough to keep the juice from spilling all over the perimeter. We've had Epicurean cutting boards for almost 10 years now and they're all well cared for, so we look forward to many more years of this great style.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Very good quality, made in the USA but hard to justify the price.

Equivalent to $10 polyethylene cutting boards you can buy anywhere except they look cool and are made in the USA from renewable/recycled materials. It leaves scratches from contact with the knife, just like any other cutting board. So far the marks are visible, but you can't feel them when you run your hand over the board, which is a good sign. I have a very sensitive nose and have to call BS about the smell. Yes, when it's wet it smells a bit like dead fish. But it doesn't transfer to food…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Trade-in available

Do Not Buy Black One

Edit Review and Downgrade. The circuit board is severely deformed. Never put it in the dishwasher as we don't use it. There's no more water on it. It is always washed under running water and dried with a paper towel. No, I will not store it upright because I keep my cutting board 100% on the counter. We use it too often to put it off every time. In a horizontal position, the circuit board should be less deformed. Have you ever been to a hardware store to see how plywood panels are stored? Yes…

Pros
  • Outstanding Design
Cons
  • Updates
