I prefer gravel tires with a lot more tread. I don't race, but I do a lot of trails, cross-country and a lot of asphalt. I probably drive about 2000 miles a year on my tires. This is the first time I've ridden anything with an all-gravel tread pattern and I'm very happy with it. They offer extremely low rolling resistance. They go fast and they feel great. I've only ridden it a handful of times, but I've ridden it through mud, snow, chunks of ice, gravel and pavement and am very impressed. Nothing sticks to them, they are very easy to care for and have fantastic adhesion. The only downside is that they kick a lot of small bits off the underside of my bike so I expect my frame to get more scratches from them, but that's kind of the nature of gravel tires in general. They were also a great pain to sit on. I tried tubeless ones first but they wouldn't come out of the center groove of my wheel so I put a tube in and then pumped the tube over it. It's still stuck in the middle groove. Finally I use the tires to stretch the bead a bit and it seems to have worked. At the moment I still ride tubes, but I think I will soon switch to tubeless. One more thing. One of the first tires I ordered had a blister where the tread had separated from the inner liner. I noticed that as soon as I unpacked it. I ordered a return and received a new one 2 days later and everything was fine. So I drive great. It hurts to sit on my WTB bikes. It's still worth it.
