Both ends are bent because the shipper must have dropped them. this is SS I fixed it Cut the pipes off the old muffler and save the MBRP muffler for reuse. Then use a saw to carefully cut open the inside of the pipe to avoid scratching the muffler and pry it out with a tire wrench. used a galvanized steel pipe held inside the muffler end and knocked out the clamp so it could slide back into the pipe. I paired this with the MBRP muffler, which used to be the muffler on the front of the downpipe. Pleasant noise outside the vehicle when idling. It is, in fact, noticeably quieter to drive than just the SS MBRP muffler. PO replaced the entire exhaust with MBRP, the Walker fitted perfectly into the existing pipes. Since this is an MBRP exhaust, my exhaust hanger should have been higher than the rubber block instead of lower. Also remove the muffler rubber blocks, apply some marine grease to the stem and stem hanger holes, slide the muffler onto the pipe, lift and push the rubber blocks by hand to make the muffler work well. I recommend using all band clamps, they don't pinch. Tube. I also recommend caulking the joints with Permatex Ultra Copper applied to the ends of the pipes that will be inserted into the joints. Survives the heat, seals water together from rusting.
