I use it for sticky things like honey, peanut butter, crisco butter, etc. But I've found a new use for it. My husband has lost his left arm and is wearing a brace on his right arm due to the Middle East War. When we had burritos from a Mexican restaurant, he had such a hard time picking up the burritos and putting them down without something falling out. He wants to stay independent and hates asking me to return his toppings or just get him a burrito. One night as we were having burritos for dinner, he mentioned that he wished there was something to hold his burrito upright so he could put it down. ate while using his right hand for something else, like using a napkin or taking a sip. He saw the measuring cup on the counter, put the foil wrapped burrito in it and there was his burrito holder. When he ate, he could push the burrito higher as he ate. I know that's not what the measuring cup was designed for, but if it makes my husband feel more independent and "normal," I'm all for it. Thank you OXO and Revain.
