Find a tie that has the beginning and end tied together. Cut the tie and tie the swift. Make sure your starting yarn is facing the OUTSIDE of the four pins. Make sure you unwind your yarn and I like to tie the end of the yarn around the pin so it doesn't get in the way. Put the starter yarn in the bobbin winder and you're done.
