Overall this is a great product. The first one I got had a visible line down the middle. It was only noticeable when the light hit him a certain way, but it shouldn't have been. The second one I got as a replacement was much better, although not perfect. There are lots of tiny bubbles and bumps in the plastic if you hold it and look at it, but once it's placed on the surface they practically disappear. I used wallpaper panels on this table and wanted to protect it from little fingers pulling it up and also provide a nice writing surface. I appreciated the glass first and it was more than I was willing to spend. I am very happy with this cheaper solution. I had some trouble getting one of the corners flat even after using a hair dryer and putting it on the table when it was very hot so I just flipped it over. to the other side and cut off that part. I drew the lines I wanted to cut out with a dry erase marker and trimmed off the excess with a ruler and utility knife. I ran into a few hurdles but overall it worked and I think it has a cleaner edge than scissors. Just be sure to apply enough constant pressure.
