I've been using these caps for about 4 years to seal bathtubs, spouts, shower heads, sinks etc. Caps work well - better than most but you have to be careful putting Vaseline on the stem , otherwise the sealant will stick to the stem if you leave it on for more than a few days. If you put petroleum jelly on the rod, it will come out of the seal container easily. I also clean the wand with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover every time I use it so it doesn't leave a mark after use. the lid works great. Closes easily and tightly.
