The handle on the storm door at our main entrance broke and we bought this handle to fix it to replace it. as there were few options for installation. After about 2.5 years of operation, the replacement grip broke due to wear on the internal spring. We ended up buying the same replacement grip, thinking the price was a 2 -Worth 3 years of use and we plan to replace the door and storm door within that time frame.If you need a quick and inexpensive solution that will help you another year or two before you can replace the door then this is it an acceptable solution.If you're looking for a quality piece that will last a lifetime, keep looking.You get what you pay for and we paid for a short term solution until a better replacement comes along.
