NOT universal! for door handles

This speaks for versatility and even mentions doors with 1 1/2" clearance, but it's a complete fake! First after already opening it i noticed that it said if you have a 1 1/2" gap you need to drill new holes. See i can do things like replace old handles but i don't have a drill and I will not drill in a metal door. You don't have to say it will fit 1 1/2" if you have to drill it to fit. I am very unhappy and still don't have a good grip on my door.

Pros
  • For 3/4" to 1-1/8" wood or metal hinged doors
Cons
  • Faulty

Cheap and like the last one, I expect it won't last very long.

I have this on a screen door that is used a lot but only by at the moment Adult This is the second purchase of this brand Overall this is the fifth purchase in the 20 year history of the door Over time part of it breaks off (last time it was a pin after a year of use) The problem is that they aren't easy to find in my area so Revain was my only option. A month back: The title was prophetic. It's already broken. Gotta think of something else. Downgraded to one star!

Pros
  • Designed for 3/4" to 1-1/8" wood or metal swing doors. Attaches to 1-1/2", 1-3/4" or 3" hole spacing. , Black finish. All mounting hardware included
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Works fine for a while

I needed a latch for a 38 year old aluminum storm door that is on its last legs. It just wasn't worth spending a lot of money on a latch for a door that was going to be replaced in the next few years. This one is perfect in every way. It was very cheap and could be customized to fit any hole pattern in your door. You simply unscrew the small knurled tabs and screw them into the required holes. It took every 5 minutes. UPDATE: After 3 months of use this clasp just fell apart. It was only…

Pros
  • All hardware included
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Broken already fits door handles

Bought this handle to replace the old handle that was on the screen door when I moved in. It's so worn that sometimes pressing the button doesn't work. unlock the door. This one was meant to be versatile, that was its advantage, and I liked the tulip grip. Then I understood. Apparently, either my old bar was an anomaly, or this thing isn't as versatile as they claim. I had to drill new holes. After that the installation was successful. It's been hanging on the door for about six weeks now and I

Short term solution to urgent problem

The handle on the storm door at our main entrance broke and we bought this handle to fix it to replace it. as there were few options for installation. After about 2.5 years of operation, the replacement grip broke due to wear on the internal spring. We ended up buying the same replacement grip, thinking the price was a 2 -Worth 3 years of use and we plan to replace the door and storm door within that time frame. If you need a quick and inexpensive solution that will help you another year or two…
