Works fine for a while
I needed a latch for a 38 year old aluminum storm door that is on its last legs. It just wasn't worth spending a lot of money on a latch for a door that was going to be replaced in the next few years. This one is perfect in every way. It was very cheap and could be customized to fit any hole pattern in your door. You simply unscrew the small knurled tabs and screw them into the required holes. It took every 5 minutes. UPDATE: After 3 months of use this clasp just fell apart. It was only moderately used, two adults and no children. I think you get what you pay for, but I expect at least a few years of use.
