After spending $40 plus 30 minutes installing this thing, this filter turned out to be a complete joke. There are numerous design flaws, especially with the lid. See Photo 1: I had to press really hard to get the lid to fit like it should. But it doesn't stay! See photo 2: As soon as you let go of the lid, it opens and dust, germs, etc. get into your "filtered" water. Then I tried to pour myself a glass. Ha! When I poured with the handle in my right hand and knocked over the lid with my left hand (which you really shouldn't), there were so many gaps that more water ended up on the counter (and then the floor) than in my glass. No need to mop the floor every time you pour a glass of water! Finally, see Photo 3: The water entry door goes *in*, not out (as you see with all other water jugs). That's a really silly design because the dust and other particles that get on the lid end up in your pitcher too. And every time you fill the jug, the remaining water drips off the lid and onto the counter.
