Works great on a 2008 GMC Envoy. old .
Works great on an '08 GMC Envoy. The old one was a bit difficult to pull off. I ended up breaking the plastic lever off the splined shaft only to have the splined insert from the lever itself quickly stick to the shaft. I used a grinder to partially cut through the insert being careful not to cut into the shank itself. Then I machined the insert from the shaft. I never clung to the shaft before installing this new one.
