UPDATE - 2 days later We are waiting for a new collar so we tried to let him wear this to get used to it. He doesn't hold it. We always find him on the ground. I even smoothed it out with an iron and tightened it up again today. then found it on the kitchen floor. I definitely do not recommend these collars. This collar doesn't have an elastic part, but I knew it would. The clasp itself will loosen if the collar is put under too much stress. Too heavy. I had to tighten the collar for our little cat. The part that was displaced in the process still sticks out and forms a loop, which he repeatedly tried to get into with his lower teeth or his foot. Today we added a small ID tag. After that he got out of hand at some point, even if we haven't found him yet. I will buy another collar. I will not buy this again.
