Review on Roadpro 12V Fused Replacement Cigarette Lighter Plug with Leads - Black (RPPS-225) by Joshua Days

Seemingly simple enough, in 2021 these plugs are hard to find locally. I used this to replace a connector on a portable inflator. I cut off the associated end connections and butt-connected them to the compressor, which immediately made swapping impossible, but that didn't seem like a problem at the time. Connected, connected and nothing. I opened the plug and the fuse that came from the factory blew. No big deal, plugged in another small bus fuse and tried again, still nothing. Okay so I opened up the entire body of the connector and the solder joints going from the wires to the pins were broken. Super, soldered and everything zipped up again. Then it worked but the little red led didn't light up, checked the connections and I think it's just a bug. So, I got this thing working, but for the price I paid for it, I feel completely robbed. I should have just gone to Harbor Freight and bought the cheapest thing with a cigarette stopper and used it.
