If you have a glass-backed 3D printer, this is a huge improvement over staples. They are much smaller so they waste less of your valuable printable area and because they are much lower the head is much less likely to collide with them. They hold on without getting in the way. A tip: you need to hook the tip of the clip to the top of the glass and then press down. Don't do this if you don't want to scratch the surface of the bed. Instead, approach from below, then press the clamp spring firmly against the underside of the bed and slide it so the small protrusion at the top of the clamp isn't touching the glass until it's fully seated. (No points for figuring out how to learn this trick.) I suppose they work well for putting pictures on glass and mirrors on their backs, but you already knew that from the description, here I am me sure.
