I've only used a medium sized mandrel so far but it seems pretty solid. I had to respeed a very old turbo and the center section really liked its connection to the turbine housing. After hitting the Kroil multiple times over the course of several days, I still couldn't move the center piece. On the advice of a local turbo builder, I bought these punches, clamped the turbine housing in a vise, and used a heavy hammer and a medium-sized punch to get to work on the center section. After a little work in each direction, the center section started to move and I was able to re-sync it. The tunnel is still in excellent condition, the central part is undamaged, so the mission is complete. In my case, no matter how much these things cost, they were a lot cheaper than the alternative, but based on my research, they were competitively priced and well built.
