Very happy with this hammer drill. I used it to make an extra hole in a bag strap. The hole is slightly larger than the others, but the next size down was too small. Wide range of hole sizes. I placed a piece of thin cardboard under the strap when punching the hole as suggested in the instructions.

I struggle with size 10 shoes but not wide feet. Often the heels I try on have straps that are too loose, even though they fit my foot well. I bought this hoping to find a way to make neat holes for extending the straps. Wow, that worked great. It's heavy - works well and punches clean holes. 2 pairs of shoes just got back into the rotation for me!

Works well and easily cuts through leather. I want the smallest hole to be smaller. I use this to make earrings from pieces of leather. And the fittings for ear hooks and connecting rings are smaller than the smallest hole. So there remains a small gap. It's not the worst, I just wish it was a little smaller so you can't really see the hole in the skin. Seems to be pretty durable.

I ordered this to trim a pair of leather straps but was nervous as I don't have much arm strength. NO PROBLEM! It's easy to use, even for the faint of heart, and everything you need is included. The two straps are adjusted and back together within five minutes! Fast shipping too! If your oversized belt has a little screw holding the buckle together and you're looking for a leather punch, get this one - it's GREAT!

This item is amazing! I love how heavy and durable it is. It's incredibly sharp and I appreciate that it comes with a sharpener. I use it for decorative stitching on belts and other leather goods. I also use it to add holes on straps to adjust size. One of those things you thought you didn't need or wouldn't need and I'm glad I can help my friends when they need to adjust the belt and have this for little fun projects.

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY. It's cheap plastic. I have included a photo of the first and only use where part of the stamp is stuck in the plastic base and cannot be removed. I'm by no means strong and I've tried punching a hole in a soft sponge (!) for a project I'm doing. The instructions say there should be an "arrow" marked on the product, but there isn't one. High-quality, heavy-duty tool. It comes with a cleaning tool, a Phillips screwdriver to replace the firing pin, and a second firing pin. Be aware that if you use the non-brass part of the pad (black area) you will burn out the shock pads. If you're punching through fabric or other soft materials, consider putting some cardboard on top of the liner as this will help the punch penetrate the fabric a little more easily and keep the impact liner intact. Heavy Duty Construction. Appears to be well built. Used it to drill new holes in a rubber watch strap. Worked very well. I give 4 stars only because there is no mark on each matrix. I was pleasantly surprised by the price of this tool. It is well made and easily penetrates even thick skin. I had two thick, expensive leather gun slings that I had to poke a few extra holes through as I had lost over 75 pounds. This thing goes through him like butter.
