My pitbull is a power chewer, as most are. Like, "can tear up black Kongs" kind of power chewer. Since she fractured a tooth, I was looking for something gentler than a nylabone that would satisfy her constant chewing urge. I have to say, I am a customer for LIFE.I ordered this toy 4 months ago and neither of my dogs have yet to make a real dent in it, even after daily chewing AND tugging! My pitty has managed to tear off probably 4 or 5 millimetre-sized pieces on the thinner ribbed parts, but other than that, the toy looks brand new. I'm able to tug with her daily and the structure hasn't lost any integrity or ever felt like it was going to tear.My dogs also love the shape of the toy, as they're able to loop it around their ankles like a bracelet for steady chewing. It's adorable and worth the purchase alone, probably.I really didn't think I was ever going to find a rubber toy that would last me this long, especially at such a good price! I will definitely be repurchasing (if they ever manage to destroy it, that is!)
