Review on 🔌 Chrysler/Jeep 1984-2006 Metra 70-1817 Wiring Harness for Radio by Cedric Ziebart

I used this to install a more modern head unit on my 1999 Chrysler 300m. Getting the job done outside the car is much nicer than cutting off the factory connectors and splicing the wiring inside. I had to move a pen. The dimmer wire had snapped at a slit, which became apparent when I held this harness close to the factory connector. Easy enough to deal with. The pins can be moved by sliding the small blue tab forward on this seat belt connector, moving the pin from one slot to the other, and then pushing the tab back into place to lock the pins. This wiring harness would still work unchanged if I didn't refer to or compare the schematics. All I would lose is the dimmer control from the car's lighting system.
