Review on North States MyPet Petgate Passage by Heather Johnson

This gate is really beautiful! We were surprised when the gate arrived that it was so good as there were several negative reviews. I will do my best to explain.1. The gate is heavy duty, really strong bronze rubbed with oil. We did a lot of housework and wanted something cute but effective to keep our "high jumper" out of the cat's room. It is IDEAL for this.2. It's easy to install. The only thing that was difficult to understand was the latch on the small pet door. so we screwed it up (user error) 3. Despite the negative review I saw here, you do NOT need to attach it to the wall with sticky pads or screws. They probably only add stability if you have a huge dog or a kid throwing tons of weight at it. We only used sticky pads to protect our door from scratches. The only thing that didn't work for us is that the small pet door is larger than you would expect. My 20 lb terrier could go through with it if he wanted to. But my 25 pound dog would have to fight. if this information helps you. Luckily, they're not smart or brave enough to try. lol I LOVE THIS GATE! worth your money!
