Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 185/65 R15 92T winter by Bogusawa Jajeczna ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing unusual, normal product.

I apologize in advance for the long review. TLC200 machine. Those. with Shumkov, weight and power of the car, everything is fine)) Tires and new wheels bought immediately. Drove them for about 4000 km on different surfaces. The first joint of the tire service came out after 60 km. Overhead weights flew out, at a speed of about 100 km / h from the two left wheels. When re-balancing, I noticed the egginess of the tires (the surface walks about 5 mm). Because of this egginess, when driving over 70 km / h, an uneven rumble (woah-woah-woah-woah) occurs. The second cant of tire fitting is that 3 of the four wheels drop pressure from 2.3 to 1.8 atm in 4-5 days. So I haven't figured out what it is. For 3 weeks, pumped up 4 times. As soon as I bought it (even before installation), I was immediately embarrassed by the thin and soft sidewall, in appearance, not an SUV at all. If on the Nordman 5 SUV, I was not at all afraid to park close to the curbs, then with the Hakka 9 SUV, it’s terribly scary to get a side cut on the edge of the old curb. Another strange feature, when resting on the curb, with the wheel turned out (when parking on a large slope), the tire sags almost to the disk. Let me remind you that the tires are not low-profile (height 171mm, wheels inflated to 2.3 atm)! Well, about the good times. On a small snow porridge, the car goes confidently, without surprises. I would like to test them in snow porridge at 10-15 cm, at different speeds. On an icy track, with crossings (snow on ice), I also drove confidently, although I dropped the speed from 110 to 90-80 km / h, out of habit. I could not believe that the car was driving on ice, like on asphalt. There was a slight drift, at a speed of 90 km / h, on a bend in the road, where the ice was very ribbed and the tire began to jump (“goat”) on it, but the EDB and other systems did not even squeak. Haven't tested it in deep snow yet. As soon as I get a chance I will add a review. Summarizing, I will say, excellent tires on asphalt, ice and slush. If it weren't for the ovoid, weak (in appearance) sidewall and constantly lowering 3 out of 4 wheels, then I would put 5 of these tires.

Pros
  • 1. Lots of studs, performs well in cold weather. 2. Copes with snow porridge (much depends on the speed of movement). 3. Excellent grip and braking on asphalt.
Cons
  • 1. Soft and rolling (feeling like it's about to jump off the disc, especially when rutting) 2. Price (285/60 R18 costs 15kR), for example, Nordman7 is 2 times cheaper. 3. Egginess of the rubber is about 5mm (if you look at the surface when balancing).
