This sharpener is very handy. It sharpens quickly and the best part is that it can be powered from a standard USB port on our laptop. When sharpening with this sharpener I had no broken lead parts. The only downside I can find is that there is no chip tray to pull out and empty. You have to unplug the sharpener, hold the sharpener over dirt, remove the lid and shake. It's not very inconvenient, but it would be better if there was a chip tray that all the chips fit in. Then you could just remove the tray, empty it, and put it back in. That minor issue aside, this is a great sharpener. I highly recommend it!
