The point of such a device is that it has to be 100% accurate and accurate. If any part of it is wrong, you will get bad results and damage cabinet doors. Luckily I triple checked all my measurements and alignment. The two pieces (the ruler that you attach the drill guide to and the perpendicular piece that holds it to the side of the cabinet door) are not square. Obviously if I drilled holes with it my handles wouldn't match the cabinet doors - they would look ridiculous and the doors would be ruined. Luckily I noticed the problem and am sending the device back. I'll probably just make one myself.
