I used this in a 2016 Hyundai Accent for my switchable LED turn signals. I installed the lights and then tried them out to see if I was lucky I didn't need them, but I experienced a hyperflare. I ended up only needing 2 of these (one for each tail light) as they are wired in parallel. It was great because I don't think I could figure out where to put them on the headlights based on how the wiring is set up. There is no hyperflashing and while they are quite warm I wouldn't call them "hot". I've tested them in 101 degrees for 30 minutes straight a day and they never got too hot to handle. I would still just mount them to metal and make sure no wires, insulation/soundproofing or other combustible materials can touch them just to be on the safe side. This product is incredibly cheap but essential for those looking to upgrade their car. light-emitting diodes.
