I have 10 torque wrenches and a whole box of torque bars. Eight of these are made with precision tooling (torque range is 1 ft-lb to 600 ft-lb), and they're every bit as good as my Snap-On (formerly made by Precision Instruments I believe) and Matco digital torque wrenches, which cost a lot. hundreds more dollars. Of the eight Precision Instruments buttons, I have recently calibrated six, and all of them do not meet the manufacturer's specifications (claims). Just used this 1/2" drive, Split Beam Prec Instruments torque wrench on a set of caliper clamps that require 166 ft lbs and it worked flawlessly - great work and construction. Cross test with my torque bars, digital wrenches and it's within 2% - great value and made in the USA (Midwest I'm guessing) Highly recommend Precision Instruments for professional automotive engineering.
